Message: Brakes had noise. Said only needed to clean & charged $5. Had NY plates, so even out of town didn’t take advantage. Could’ve sold me new brakes, but didn’t. If I was doing this at home for someone, I’d charged $50 minimum. Highly recommend because honest auto technicians hard to find.

Message: In the area temporarily and was referred here by someone local. I was told by another shop that my tie rods were bad and went here to have them replaced. After having Simms look it over, they said my tie rods were fine and it was a stabilizer bearing that needed replacement. I have since brought my vehicle back for spark plugs, brakes and rotors. They were timely, trustworthy, and affordable. If I was living here long term, Simms would definitely become my regular mechanic. 10/10 would go back to Simms.

Message: For basic car services, I prefer Simms to many other places. I appreciate that it's a local business and is not on a lot involved in auto sales. Quick and reasonably priced oil change and inspection. They do not sell tires that I know of but they will install them if you bring them in.. Kind of uncomfortable to wait around in the small front area but you're within walking distance to anything in downtown Lewisburg, which helps kill time.
